Swagged Bauble Pattern

This simple ladder and netting stitch pattern makes a great addition to any tree and is a great combination with the Swagged wine bottle cover.

It  introduces 3 different stitches and techniques but they really don’t take too long to make. The neck section is worked in ladder stitch the swags are netting with fringe techniques used to add the bugles. We used Miyuki beads. You can use a different brand but you may need to adjust the numbers of seed beads used. I chose to close up the beadwork around the bauble but you could leave it open if you prefer. Uses a 6cm bauble.
